Same-Sex Wedding Invitation Wording
With a traditional wedding, the norm is to put the bride’s name first as her parents host the day. With two brides or two grooms the protocol is slightly different.
As with a traditional wedding, the names of the parents hosting/paying for the wedding will go first but it’s all down to personal taste and choice as to how you list names on your invites. A safe bet would be to stick to alphabetically listing the couple, and a general catch-all for the parents / wedding party.
An example of a same-sex invite:
Together with their parents,
Jonathan Johnson
&
Robert Robinson
