For us Autumn weddings are undoubtedly our personal favourite with warmth, texture and colour all playing an important part in wedding styling.
We’re clearly not alone in our love of Autumn weddings either as we’re seeing a dramatic increase in wedding stationery orders for Autumn and Winter weddings.
Colours
Jewel toned colours, including teal, emerald and burgundy, are super popular for Autumnal weddings.
One of our personal favourites for an Autumn Wedding colour palette is Teal and Copper, giving a nod to the metallic wedding trend that’s been a popular choice.
Deep russet red, orange and gold colours also look stunning against ivory and cream wedding dresses and deliver a bold contrast against suits for buttonholes.
Autumn is also perfect for playing around with different textures to add opulence throughout your wedding – think hessian, velvet and lace.
Flowers
An Autumn Wedding offers couples a vast array of choice when it comes to flowers for your bridal bouquets and decorations.
This season offers a range of new colours and flowers plus the opportunity to add in other elements such as dried fruit, berries and autumn leaves, that add warmth and richness to your flower arrangements.
