Wedding Inspiration

In the world of wedding trends, things are constantly changing and evolving, leaving brides to be with masses of choice and sometimes confusion over what’s going to be the next ‘hot thing’.

This week, we’re attempting to ease your confusion by bringing you a selection of our well researched top trends.

Top Trends

The super stylish Vintage, Woodland, Romantic and Whimsical trends, that have been strong influences for recent weddings, are going to continue in popularity.

These beautiful trends all centre around natural, unstructured styling and these trends provide brides to be with an abundance of ways to add in personal touches that add personality, warmth and humour to the special day.

This age-old wedding tradition could soon be a thing of the past

Colour Palette: Metallic and Whites

You may recall our blog a few weeks ago about metallics being one of the top wedding trends. Well good news! The striking metallic trend is here to stay for the foreseeable future.

David Tutera, Wedding Planner to the Stars, predicts that on trend wedding colour palettes will focus on a mix of soft brushed metallic and whites. One of our particular favourite combinations is copper and blush tones, which provide warmth and romance.

On Trend Dresses

Romantic 3-D floral details, plunging necklines and off-the-shoulder dresses are all featuring heavily for wedding dresses.

On-trend brides will be encouraged to make bold, skin baring choices, resulting in an elegantly feminine look — perfect for modern brides wanting to make a statement.

Brides to be are also encouraged to be consider this year’s Pantone Colour of the Year Rose Quartz, as an option for their wedding dress colour.

If making a break from the traditional ivory or white wedding dress is a little to ‘out there’ for you there is also a vast amount of choice that incorporate these two top colours for bridesmaid’s dresses.

Wild Flowers

The inclusion of wild flowers and large leaves within bouquets, church flowers and centre pieces will continue to be a popular choice. Flowers are now increasingly moving away from the traditional bouquet arrangements with a less structured, wild look.  When choosing your flowers take inspiration from seasonal wildflowers. In addition, the inclusion of berries within your bouquet are highly recommended for Autumn and Winter weddings.
